JDP add me on the list, I'll probably just go with the undertray w/wo fins as i stated i just dont want to add onto an added on factory lip
i understand you cant make everyone happy all the time i just think removing the factory sport lip and adding one you "could" make with a undertray would flow and look more like less of an afterthought - take a look at post 15 again and see the rear bumper without the sport lip (same as base)

I agree, but i was thinking it would follow the basic shape of it...
I wouldn't want something THAT big hangin off the back

Still, i do like what JDP has made... and i'm close to having enough saved to put me on the list

Hi Guys....I personally dislike the styling of the piece above ^^^ from the rear view.

The under panel/diffuser will be similar to this, but the rear design will be what you have already seen.

It seems that alot of folks are looking for just the under panel diffuser...

Plans....
- Moving forward with the rear design
- The diffuser will have to be designed to accomodate the rear design.

Understood...and I appreciate the feedback and your understanding.

Looking at the GD from the side profile, the rear lip doesn't hang up enough (IMO) to line up with the side skirts.

When you add on to it, it compliments the lines and flow all together.

i agree. I actually scoped out the relative height of the rear lip and side skirts when you first posted pics of the rear design, and your addition of the rear piece will work well!

You've done a good job thinkin this through JDP

Hey JDP...after you finalize the design, I'll most likely go with just the under panel diffuser. I'm curious to see how easy it will be to add this piece to the Sport lip. Thanks again for making this thing happen!

This is what I wanted to hear! Any plans on making the whole piece out of FRP, or are you still planning on the underpanel only in FRP. I think it would look best if you could paint it a satin black instead of CF. And I would feel dumb painting CF since it cost more. Your thoughts?

I see a buyers list but no underpanel pics. If the underpanel looks functional, can be had without the lip, and doesn't look ridiculous (which I doubt it will, based on your other designs) then I'm in for $200. But I need pics first.

Finished up the template of the underpanel and already mocked up the fins.

Pics will be up after I've lay up some fiberglass....most likely after the holidays.

Just out of curiousity.....among those who are on the buyers list, who is looking for just the under panel?

Am i wasting my time on this rear lip? It was originally suppose to be integrated with the under panel.

I'm not on the buyers list (yet!) but given the audience here I'd be surprised if you don't get some takers for the rear lip by itself. Just my pair of pence.
