That does look like a nice piece. Any direct profile shot to see a better shot of it?

Well, the spoiler does look very nice, but to me it's not that much different than the stock. I don't know if it's the angles of the images or what but it doesn't over exaggerate the upward sloped design that I thought a duckbill would have. I really like the images posted towards the top of the thread (I think it's a duckbill on a GD3). That to me looks like a duckbill spoiler. This one looks like a more refined, ever so slightly arched carbon version of the stock sport spoiler.

Like i said, the piece looks nice and very well made but for me to spend $200-$300 on something the differences between what I have and what I'm replacing/upgrading it with need to be extreme.

IDK, i think it looks a lot different than stock. Compared with like the JDP wing especially. Its longer than stock and more angled enough to be considered duck bill. I just want to know when i can order it

Last night, I met up with Chuck and checked out the rear spoiler in person. The first thing that I noticed was the angle. At first glance, you can totally tell that it doesn't look like the OEM one. The spoiler angles upwards just a tad bit. It's subtle and nothing too crazy like the BYS one. The rigidity seems to be top notch. I gave it a couple of hard shakes and it's pretty sturdy. And just FYI, it doesn't use the OEM mounting locations. Overall, it's a very nice option for those of you who are looking to replace your OEM rear spoiler for something else.

But he did say if u make the holes, and down the road you decide to go back to the stock wing, the stock wing will cover the holes

I'm interested too, I always prefered the duckbill smooth curve look but it wasn't available @ the time so I bought the JDP spoiler. I would like some other people mentioned like 2 see it from a whole car side view so I can get a better idea of the sweep and length if possible.

I too need to see the sweep. I'm not trying to downplay the quality and beauty of this product. For me it's just not worth the money if it's not radically different than the OEM. I'll wait for some side shots so I can get a better idea of the sweep and length and make my final decision.

It's definitely different from OEM. The OEM goes straight out. This spoiler curves upward slightly. It's a bit similar to the Spoon spoiler for the GD3, but not as rounded. So it has a design of its own.

I'll get a better side profile shot for you guys. It isn't ridiculously aggressive, we didn't want it to end up looking like a backyard special spoiler. but like charlie said, it complement the lines of the GE so nicely.

Thanks Matt! Like i mentioned in post #32, it does NOT use stock mounting locations because the wing would have ended up with 2 square bumps for the stock holes, and we wanted to keep it sleek. But installation is a breeze, literally, and if u ever take it off, the stock wing will cover the new holes.
