Group Buy: GT Spec Chassis Braces

I know we talked about this a while back but it seemed no one really followed through.

Fellow member here, wiona, was the guinea pig for these bars and has noticed results...

We need to get a list of who and what so that we can get this thing on the roll.

I believe wiona is going to contact gtspec to see what exactly their requirements are...

Here's a picture of the braces installed

Price list is on their website but looks like this...
GTS-SUS-1395 GTSPEC Rear Sway Bar Reinforcement Brace - 09 + Honda Fit $259.00
GTS-SUS-1394 GTSPEC 2 Points Mid Chassis Tie Brace - 09 + Honda Fit $114.00
GTS-SUS-1393 GTSPEC Front Lower Tie Brace - 09 + Honda Fit $99.00
GTS-SUS-1392 GTSPEC 6 Point Mid Chassis Brace - 09 + Honda Fit $299.00

So let's get a list going...

1. Btrthnezr3 (Front lower tie brace)

I'm not too sure of that rear sway bar's rigidity. The nuts + bolts on the bar kinda defeats the purpose as it just flex independently where the bolts are. A one piece bar work better than a 3 piece IMO.

I'm sold on the 6 point brace tho!

so I called gtspec

I am really irritated! I want all four lower braces for my new Fit...problem is they won't sell them to me! They told me that they made two sets hoping that people would be interested in them but when they weren't they decided not to make any more. NOW, I would need ten other people for each item to have them made. We are talking about making the GE8 have an awesome chassis for $775 total! I even told them that I had the $775 and they said they still couldn't do it. We NEED to get this thread going again. Its tax time and you know our cars would benefit from such bracing.

End rant.

The part about getting all GT Spec is that the parts match not that they are necessarily cheaper. I hate when it looks like a rainbow of parts on my cars. I just want a set of matching quality parts!

i would personally have no problem with my bars looking like a double rainbow. seriously wouldn't buy these bars for a flashy show mod. it sits under the car anyways if it was the big of an issue for me i'd just powercoat them all red.

I understand what you are saying about powdercoating them. My statement made a lot more sense in my mind. I have just had GT Spec parts in the past. I thought they worked great. I mainly just want all of those lower braces!
