No you don't cover it back when it rains. The rain will not harm any engine components.

Just wanted to let everyone know that I placed the last couple cowl scoops I have in stock on Ebay. I have one more in 1x1 carbon that just needs finished and will probably put it up for sale eventually.
Things have been so busy that I probably won't be able to make any more until at least spring time. Just search 'honda fit cowl scoop' the starting price is pretty low so you may be able to save a couple bucks.
Over 200 of these have been sold and mostly here on FF, so thanks much.
