Just so y'all have any idea from some one who has done this, It's an average DIY as long as you're patient and take your time. Getting the headlights open is the hardest part but at after that you're home free. I also do recommend the mini H1 over the d2s just because the d2s had some serious excess foreground on the low beam and if I could go back I get the H1 over the d2s.

I run Mini D2S and don't notice any excess foreground.

Mine did. It was like all my light was at the front of the car but the cutoff on the road was so faint . It's ok. When I retrofit the Z, Which I need to talk to you about, I'm going with a real projector lol.

Retail price is $120 for the Morimoto Mini H1 4.1 Projector. The bulbs are $25. So retail price total is $145. 20% off would make it $116.

Wait is it just bulbs and projectors? What about ballasts and wiring harnesses?

I dunno...I guess you can buy those separately too. I would recommend contacting the organizer of the group buy about that info.

This GB was designed for Audi guys with factory HIDs. Reverse adapters would be the only other component needed.

I already bought a set because I was getting too impatient to wait for the group buy. You can buy a set off ebay. TRS sells them for a Buy-it-now with best offer. Look through their feedback to see what their lowest selling prices have been and shoot them an offer at that price

If you need help, I can lend a hand.

How else would you soften the butyl enough (and consistently) to press it back together?
