I would def be interested, a couple questions though:
1) How much do these affect the headlight output at night?
2) How difficult is the installation?

I like the 3rd picture you posted. The blue car with the top and bottom eyelids. Though if I had it my way the bottom eyelid would extend towards the center of the car a little bit more.

 

Question 1: They really don't affect the output hardly at all. It's only covering a part of the light and there is plenty of reflector in that housing. Go back a page and look at post #37 thats my car with them at night.

Question 2: Super easy to install, it's just 3M tape on the back of them. One of mine is just slightly off and when I tried to pull it off it felt like someone cemented it to the light.

 

Sorry, been crazy busy at work. Thanks for answering x4x5x1x. It's just 3m tape, but like he said, VERY hard to move. I thought I was gonna snap them when I took mine off.

As far as different shapes, I'd rather stick with one for sanity sake. If you want something custom, I could probably be talked into it on a side job, but as with anything custom, the price would go up. I do not want to make bottom pieces at this time though.

And as a note, all of the eyelids that evil posted are on JDM front ends, so they might look a little different on usdm.

True Adrian: all pics I posted are JDM and being that USDM and JDM is different... fitment will be an issue. what you can do tho is get creative with masking tape and plastidip on your headlight then paint it body color.

I haven't forgotten. It's still happening as soon as the list hits 10 I'll start gathering deposits and begin production. I check the thread everytime there's an update.
