Curiously, I googled and found this. 2nd gen, but not 3rd gen Fit.

For a while I was thinking of installing one. This would have been the least intrusive, ie, without having to remove the rear bumper. From Harbor Freight buy one of these to haul lumber and 4x8 sheets home. https://www.harborfreight.com/search?q=trailer

That's a class 2 hitch so it is rated for 3500 lbs gross trailer weight and 350 lbs tongue weight. Plenty for a jetski.

Manual trans or automatic? Does it give a tow rating in the manual?

I towed a Jetski a couple of times with my 2nd gen

I also have a small 4x6 utility trailer that I use to haul stuff around. I filled it with firewood and despite the slower acceleration, the Fit didn't mind at all. Even the brakes were still powerful enough.

As long as you don't go above the hitch rating, the Fit will not have a problem.
