Hey guys, up here in Canada, my 2009 215000km fit starts to rust on the fenders. I was thinking that the easiest and most future proof solution would be to just cut the rusted metal and install black fender flares like we can see in some subarus. I think it would look nicely weather-proof up here in Montreal. So you guys know any place selling these? I've looked a bit on Google and haven't found much.... However it seems this would solve the problem every car has always had in Canada ...
Thanks

If they are combined with arch molding that keeps moisture off they’ll do great. But yeah unless you find something exactly the right size I think it’ll be hard. It will be less effort to wash and spray your wheel wells with Pam once a week than build custom arches.
the 2nd gens lack any rear wheel arch molding and it’s a downside for sure :/
