can you modify computer options on the Honda Fit?

On my last car, a Mini Cooper, I had a bluetooth dongle plugged into the OBDB II port, and an app on my phone called BimmerCode, which let me change things - like if I turned on the high-beams, DON'T turn off my fogs thank you, or, remember that I had Sport mode turned on the last time I drove so turn it on when I start the engine this time, and so on. Is there any kind of equivalent to that functionality in the Honda Fit world?

Not to my knowledge.

Just curious - on your Mini, when you plugged in the dongle and started manipulating things, does that invalidate the warranty as far as the computer system is concerned? Meaning if something goes wrong, it's on your dime, and the manufacturer is likely to deny any computer-related claims. Of course, if you're out of warranty, go for it.

The answer to that is kind of universal - it would only invalidate your warranty if the thing you changed directly caused the problem you were seeking warranty service for. It's like if you put a cold air intake on your car and the radio dies - they're not going to say the CAI caused the radio to fail so your warranty on the radio is fine. But if your CAI means your air filter is now 6 inches off the ground and you go thru 12 inches of water and flood the engine with water - they're going to deny warranty because your customized CAI caused the problem. So in the case of modifying the computer, if you go messing with something like engine parameters, and suddenly have engine problems, then sure, they have a valid case to say you caused your own problem. But tweaking the behavior of the lights doesn't have any effect on the engine. Thanks for the answer, bargainguy.
