Painted my Manifold cover (crappy cellphone pic inside!)

Painted part of my manifold cover (crappy cellphone pic inside!)

So I decided to paint mine a bit differently from those I've seen here. I used Krylon plastic paint, and I plan to paint the HONDA with some black touch-up paint and do a coat of clear to give it shine and to seal the edges of the red paint.







Materials:
Green painter's tape
Krylon spraypaint for plastics
Dupli-color clearcoat

I taped off the dimple design and sprayed that red, using a few sweeps of the spraycan until I was satisfied with the color and uniformity. I left it dry and sit for about a day before adding two coats of clearcoat and letting that set for a few hours. That's really all there is to it! Good mod for a lazy day.

That look nice, I was planning to paint myself but i going to get a paint shop do it for me, cuz i'm going to paint my car so he just do it free, post pic after you get the black painted on the honda part

thats pretty tight, i painted mine blue then slapped a greddydecal on and painted the whole thing white so when i took the decal off everything was white except where the greddy is blue, ill post a pic in my thread soon

Naw, I took the cellphone pic off once I had some decent pics to put up.

do you have any pix of then engine bay without the IM cover on? just wondering what the engine looks like without it. (too lazy to do it myself :P :P)

btw. what tools are needed? a flathead screwdriver and what else? 10mm socket wrench?

Just that. And if it's not 10mm then it's 12mm. But i'm pretty sure the bolts are 10mm. I don't trust myself when I can't remember things :-P
