Exhaust on an Auto?

I have a Fit Auto Sport and I've been thinking of getting a new exhaust. Mainly because the stock muffler looks ugly and also because I wouldn't mind making the fit sound a little meaner.

However, I am worried that the added sound could become annoying during everyday driving. I do a lot of road trips in my fit and I don't want this to be the case.

Anybody with first hand experience?

I have the megan axle back on my sport auto. When you are in cruse control you don't hear a difference but as soon as you WOT to pass someone it can get a bit loud. Here is a vid I made last year after I installed it.

I have the spoon B-pipe and N1 axle-back on my auto. when I just had the Axle-back at just cruising around the exhaust was barely noticeable but WOT it made a pretty good sound. With the B-pipe added it got a little bit louder but for the most part driving around under 3,000rpm its pretty quiet. If you go to this thread>> https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/fit-...os-inside.html <<you can here the sound clips I made, its under Spoon

get the skunk2. i've got 2 vids on youtube, here they are:
YouTube - Skunk2 Megapower on '07 Honda Fit - Start-up and Idle
YouTube - Skunk2 Megapower on '07 Honda Fit

the vids don't actually do it justice, it's loud as sh!t. i just got home and my parents told me they heard me from literally 3 blocks away. the skunk2 also comes with a silencer you can put in if it gets too loud or you get a fix-it ticket.

also running a fujita SRI which makes the car louder.

I have an A/T with the Weapon R Header, Magan B-pipe and Megan axle back.
Very mellow, you can here it but it's not loud.

i got the 50mm, because i'll probably never boost. if i do, i'll just take the axle-back off and that should allow enough airflow.
