yeah, okay after the ICON grille and wheels, I'm saving for limo tint lol

 

Mine isn't as clean as tdesi420's, but I wanted to put the pics up anyway...

20% on all side & back windows with a 20% 6-inch strip on the windshield. I feel like I should have gone darker on all of it. The windshield makes the fronts too light for me (hard to tell in the pics cuz of the sun angle)!!!

 

are your little small windows next beside your side mirrors tinted as well? or is that blank? i can't tell from the pics.

 

I did have the front little windows tinted as well.

Check your state regulations, some consider that part of the windshield and therefore it cannot tinted. You can google and find a website, also the tint people will know the regulations.

 

these pics suck. but anyways the cop pulled me over and it was 3% all the way around... and 35% full windshield. i have double limo on all windons. yes is illegal but better than getting your radio jacked.

 

This is worth checking. My tint guy said the little windows won't be an issue here as long as they are a lighter tint than the rear windows.

 

HOLY SMOKES that's a dark windshield! How did you get that tinted? You must have done it yourself, eh? And what did the ticket cost you?

 

$160 X2. i have a tint guy that does all of my cars. hes one of my buddies.... i guess the windshield alone was 160 and the side windows were 160... not sure if that was leggit for the cop to do it like that. but i went to court and showed them pics of the first day i got my car. with no tint and they dropped it. lol... so i paid nothing.

 

You are pretty clever! Love it, but what happens when you get another ticket? You won't be able to pull the same trick again, will you???

What are your rims, where did you get them and what did they cost? that's the look I want for my Fit.

 

ya my wife is the one that always gets caught. i usually drive with the windows down so u cant tell. in az there is a law but they dont enforce it very much until the economy went down. i told her if one of us gets pulled over with it i was going to take it off and sell my stereo.

but ya the rims are r1 racing grip 17 X 7 i think and tires are 205 40 17. i got them $900 new at a shop here in az. probably got jipped... lol

 

30% in front/13% in the back - I would have loved to go 13 all around but I'm pushing it as it is.

I currently don't have tint on the fit, but two cars ago I had 50% all the way around including the windshield.
That, in my opinion looks the best. But you have to have the windshield done also.
In addition, the law only bothered me once. But even then, since the windshield also had tint the officer actually thought it was all factory done and I didnt get a ticket!!

I got away with tint in my area for years with my prev car. I got a ticket the 3rd day after I tinted on my fit!

 

Hey, I want a darker tint in the rear to protect my camera gear from being visible to prying eyes, but I also don't want a tint so dark that it's hard backing up the car at night. Is 35% good, or should I go with 50%? I was thinking I'd like V-cool for the 4 front windows (2 regular size, 2 mini), and Suntek OP 35% for the 5 rear windows (2 regular, 2 mini, 1 hatchback).
