What's this hose??
Mods not sure where this should be feel free to move it.
While looking at Sid 6.7 nice SSR intake post I happened to notice this hose connecting to the USDM intake manifold that I had never noticed before. (sorry Sid 6.7 for "borrowing" part of your engine photo).
It's just one more difference between the USDM version and the rest of the world models as we don't have that hose.
Has anyone that changed their intake systems or anyone with the USDM repair manual happened to notice where the hose goes on the right side of the photo? It looks like it is leading back toward the oil mist separator or it is a section of the engine breather.
Any clues from the USDM guys??

If that is for engine coolant then I would think it's more for intake manifold HEATING to warm the intake for better cold start warm-up emissions reduction like the water to the TB.
Running hot water through the intake would make it HOTTER not cooler like the TB setup so a cheap mod for you USDM guys would be to shut off the hot water to the intake.
If that hose continues on and is also the hose to the TB water supply the hose would be the perfect spot to splice in a shut off petcock valve. It would cut off hot water to the intake and the TB with one valve..... double whammy.

Anybody KNOW for sure?? The clamp looks like the ones used on water hose connections if you look to the left hose next to this one but this hose is a different color than the water one next to it.
