Opinion re: Headlight mod & emblems...

  1. I'd like to find someone that has a SS fit (possibly one w/ a red surrounded "h".)
  2. I'd like to trade my red headlights (which would contrast match the red "h".)
  3. Install the Ss headlights (which would imo look good w/ my checkered front end).
  4. Considering installing Jazz emblems to go w/ my fit emblems.
Opinions about this??

I think it would be pretty neat to have SS headlights. I wouldnt want to see MR headlights on a SS fit though. That would be bad. haha.

I'm pretty sure that the ss lights would be sweet on my car!!
As far as red lights on SS.....You might be right... I was thinking a SS w/ some sort of red stripe on the side or hood >>> esp. if it had a stripe that incorporated the red in the lights w/ the stripe.... it might look good...

What about my "fit jazz" idea?? (prob. been done before... but I haven't seen it).

BTW thanks 4 your input.

alredcar has some silverish headlights on his mr fit. they look sick so there is no doubt it would look good. i would prefer silver headlights over black anyday.

Fit Jazz idea? Are you saying your going to have both Fit and Jazz emblems or remove the Fit emblems and install just jazz ones? Sorry i didnt understand your question. haha. If you are thinking about just Jazz emblems it has been done but is still a cool idea. If you go that route the RS emblem would be pretty sweet aswell. Gotta love "Road Sailing"

I actually orig. meant to have both. (one on the opp. side of the hatch) That might look like my car had a personality disorder... but it would make you look twice....
I also considered trading out emblems.....but haven't decided.
wdyt?

Running both Fit and Jazz emblems imho would be to busy. I think just one or the other would be the way to go and then maybe get the RS emblem for the otherside if you want 2 badges in the rear. I know i was thinking about getting the JDM Fit badge, since it has the red instead of blue dot, and the RS badge, also red, to add to the rear look. I dont know if its worth $50 for the actual badges though and im not into the cheaper knock-offs.

One of my wife's close friends lives in Australia, and they send each other "care packages" all the time. Anyway her friend was going to go into a Honda place & get me a jazz emblem. I guess the logical step after that MIGHT be to get aussy tailights.

I'm also playing w/ the idea of putting either some silver or some red vinyl
in the background of my front emblem.
( A friend of mine had his JDM badges stolen in the Newport News area, and I thought that might be less tempting to a thief & still contrast).

Thats cool you have a hookup in Aussie. haha. With the tail lights check and see the price but you could always go with Depo tails instead as an idea. Koolkevin1107 did a sweet DIY about getting them to fit perfectly and many member have stated that the quality is great. There were a couple that said they got bad ones though but the majority said they were straight. There are a few threads on the boards of people who have used vinyl instead of the Type R red H's and they have turned out very well. So far nobody has stolen mine but its always possible i guess. haha. Good luck to you with your decision. Let us know if you need anything

Muy calente!
It looks good, esp. w/ the aggressive stance that your car has.
Also..is that a quick disconnect pin hanging from a trailer hitch?
Like it!!

New Owner with a simple question

I just got my Fit 5 days ago and I love the idea of putting the Jazz emblem on it. What might be the best place to get the emblem.

Thanks,
-Joey

I just found out that the Australian "hook-up" that I was expecting... didn't work out... it seems that it cost $50.00 to get it from Honda over there! I'm prob. going to get one from ebay.

After looking on ebay... I found both RED & BLUE dot jazz emblems..
I'm prob. going for a "Jazz" w/ a red dot... but don't know if it would show up on a MR car...

I was thinking the same thing. Would a Red dot look right on a MR Fit.

the difference in the color of the dot shows the different motor. idk the specifics, but it's something like blue dot = 1.3L. red dot = 1.5L
