After market Spoiler

I bought a 2011 Fit and didn't get the rear spoiler. Now I want one, has anyone put the after market one on their car of should I go with the dealer? Looking for advice. SOB

If you just want the OEM sport spoiler I would look around to see who makes a good quality replacement one, should save you a hundred bucks or so. Only go to the dealer if having a 100% Honda factory part is important to you, and even then you could probably still find one cheaper on Ebay than buying a new one from a dealer.

Sobfire,

eBay is bound to have some listings for '11 Fit after market spoilers. They can look pretty nice and be equitable to the OEM spoiler's quality but the inherent problem with these products is sketchy fit issues. Often times, necessary hardware will not be included in the spoiler packaging or body modifications will have to be made before their so-called "direct OE-fit" spoilers can be properly adhered to your Fit. Just make sure that you thoroughly research the seller's feedback before you decide to buy from them.

On the other hand, you could always buy the OEM spoiler and have it installed on your Fit. Hondapartsnow.com offers the painted OEM spoiler for the '11 Fit at a discounted price from the dealership: 2011 OEM Fit Parts

Finally, you could pick up the OEM spoiler from the dealership. They'll charge you $331 for the part, though

Im not fond of aftermarket. It is just a fact that most of them are available on cheap prices but when it comes to quality, i guess they're not that good. Just always stick to OEM especially for exterior parts...
