Well it's paint so over time it will wear off. They have paint for calipers so I guess how long it will last is up to you and how well you prep them. I'm also going to agree with solbrother, unless your going to paint them black I would not paint them at all.

Mine are blue. Depends on prep but my drums have last over two years. Calipers not so good and do need touch up occasionally. I did front badge surround with same blue and have inserts for the rear badge in blue.

Then I put my winter wheels on and it does not matter.

I am waiting to get caliper covers. I found this company that makes them, but they don't have any for the fit yet... not sure if the civic ones will fit, don't really want to buy them and find out that they won't fit...

MGP Caliper Covers

Send them an e-mail and ask them to make them for the fit... I figure the more people ask, the more likely they will get around to making them.

My suggestion is to have them powder coated if anything. The only real downside to that is the need to be fully disassembled before coating and then reassembled. I have coated a few sets and never had any issues. In the short term paint will be easier, cheaper and faster. If you don't mind redoing it every year or so that is probably the route you would prefer.

What Funkster said..

Or brush 'em, use a high temp seal/clear coat.

Or just get some nice rotors to take the focus off your calipers like I did. lol

Brake caliper
This is pretty well done. The color blends on the vehicle but would rather suggest replacing the mags as well.

noticed that too... I think it has something to do with the fact that the search engine is "messed up"... it no longer brings up a list of the last 150 results that match the search parameter... instead, it brings up 150 results from whenever and doesn't even list it in order by date anymore.

So people are just responding to threads without bothering to look at the dates on them.
