Gawd help me if this q has already been answered elsewhere. I spent gobs of time looking for it though. Anyone run new speaker wire to the front and back speakers on an 08 LX? Seems like most people just used the oem wiring for their new speakers. I would love to hear from people who have run new wires. I'm assuming its not so easy or straightforward.

Im doing a serious stereo upgrade with the trifecta of sound deadening - cld tiles, ensolite and mlv. If im gonna do everything proper, i might as well make sure its all done right, thus my speaker wire query. Thanks for reading everyone. I love the site - it's taught me mucho.

 

If you're going to do a "serious" sound upgrade, why would you use the oem speaker wiring?

 

Hi AJ. Thx for getting the thread started. I am going to run new speaker wire. That's why I'm hoping someone can let me know what's involved. All I've found is posts that just leave in the oem. Perhaps it's so easy that no one thought it worthy of a post? Hope so!
