Color Confusion on Title/Registration?

Color Confusion on Title/Registration?
Hi,
My wife and I moved from Virginia to Florida a few years ago. We noticed this at first but honestly did not want further hassle so we decided to leave it be. However, now I'm thinking we should probably get this corrected to not cause further issue in the event of an accident/theft/etc.
The issue:
We have a purple (I think officially it's midnight purple) 2015 Honda Fit. The registration in VA showed PLE for purple, but the registration in FL shows BLK for black. The car was purchased new so purple is the original color. We then paid off the car and the title is also showing as black, which I assume is because they pulled this data from the registration.
How do I go about getting this corrected? Do I go to the DMV first or do I contact Honda for an updated Title?
