Hi , just bought a 2016 Fit , it's white , I want to upgrade the stock wheels with maybe white rims also looking for a steering wheel cover and some way to protect the AC compressor from rocks , any suggestions will be appreciated thanks
I assume you want to protect AC condenser, not compressor. I have not done that yet but I plan to install wire mesh inside the lower grille. There are quite many people, who have done that to GD and GE. The only difference in GK is the amount of work needed to remove the front bumper to get the mesh behind the plastic grille.
Ya that's what I meant , I used to have a 2010 fit , and AC went out really fast due to rocks , what kind of wire mesh and where can I get it ? I didn't think I would have to take the bumper off , can't you just get at it from under ?
I am not 100 % sure, but looking from underneath I think that the plate, which is under the empty space between lower grille and condenser is part of the welded steel body. I'd be happy to be wrong and happy to hear easier ways to get the mesh there.
I am sorry, but I cannot point you any specific store or source in North-America. I am in Finland and I'm sourcing steel nets from a Latvian web shop. I'd use either expanded steel net with 4 mm holes or stainless woven net with 3 mm holes. There are also local companies selling similar products, but they are mainly selling to companies and only bigger batches than privates like us need for this kind of projects.

I took plastic mesh intended for rain gutter protection and zip tied it to the lower grill on the outside.
You could upgrade to 2018 black sport 16 inch wheels from the 15 inch wheels you currently have. The black sport wheels would look great on your white LX.
