Anybody else affected by this? I know the nav system was an uncommon option for the second gen models. I have it in my 2010 and the date is stuck at Jan 1, 2002.
If any of you are programmers, it's because the 2022 year/date/time exceeds the maximum possible value for the 32 bit date variable.
Anybody's 3rd gen affected?

Same issue here. I know our DVD Nav is a few years old; I held off on updating because of a bunch of highway construction around our area and was going to wait until that was done. Does the DVD Nav include software updates in addition to map data? I guess I always thought that was purely map data and that the GPS software from Blackberry was static on the navigation systems. (2011 Fit in my case)

 

Yep. I have the exact same issue. Any fixes short of updating the NAV DVD?

 

It's been tried. Makes no difference. It's not the disk, it's a firmware bug in the unit.
So far All Honda Acura 2004 to 2014? with the Nav unit are affected.
Until we hear from Honda, don't waste money on a new disk or at the dealer.

 

Every time I turn on the car, or go into the Nav and back out to the clock, the time starts at January 1 2002, 2:00 (I'm in Mountain time). It's not just when I turn on the car.

This started after January 1 this year. Apparently it's showing up in a bunch of Honda models with Navigation systems..

It looks to me like they had no plan for the Nav firmware to go more than 20 years. Bug!
