Looking for replacement shift knob.

Hey everybody, the shift knob in my ‘09 fit has seen better days, the metallic… stuff (idk if it’s paint or what) is coming off and it actually cut me the other day when shifting. (It was really cold which must have made it harder) also, I’ve always been kinda been disappointed with the shifter feel, the shaft feels kinda plasticy, like it’s bending a little when I shift hard, and sometimes it feels like it’s getting hung up on shifts. So my questions are, what kind of aftermarket shift knobs should I be looking for? I’d like something weighted and sturdy, but also something that doesn’t stand out in my stock interior. I’ve also wondered if I could take a shift knob from another car, maybe a newer fit, civic, or accord, is that doable? Finally I’m wondering if there’s any kits that could help rejuvenate the shifting mechanism, I don’t want to get too crazy but I’m willing to spend some money on it if it’s worth it. Thanks!

All manual Honda shift knobs use the same thread pitch. Just pick out your favorite.

I replaced mine with this one off of Ebay. I never liked the round ball shift knobs. I think it was only $20
