Does your local Honda Dealer offer a 3 Oil Change deal for a set price? Mine does. I'm planning on taking this deal at my next oil change.

 

We got free lifetime oil changes from our dealership when we bought our Fit new.

 

Yeah, I have a lifetime deal - I change it myself!

 

I have one of those lifetime deals too but there's probably an expiration date because at some point I'll decide I'm too old to be climbing under cars.

Although I expect that before I reach that age I'll have an electric car and the only maintenance I'll be doing is adding washer fluid, checking tire pressure and changing the cabin air filter.

 

I'm sure that the point of the oil change deal is to get you in the doors to aid them in selling other services. Not saying that's bad but probably why. You might need other services that they offer I don't know.

I change my own oil right now. Hang out in the garage, drain the oil, rotate the tires, check the filters and refill the oil. Good way to spend a few hours by myself.

 

This deal is only at the Honda Dealer I go to. A friend recently purchased a 2021 CRV. The Honda Dealer she goes to dosen't have this 3 oil change deal. It's a long drive if she were to get this 3 oil change deal at the Honda Dealer I go to.

 

Yeah. My dealer does not offer these types of things. The dealership in the nearest major town near me gives your car a hand wash with every service sometimes including an oil change. At least they did when I had to use them. Just a way to get customers in the door. Not a bad deal though.

 

As with all good deals the 3 oil change deal my Honda Dealer was offering has ended. Apparently alot of customers took up this offer. The dealer was losing out on their profit margin. The dealer will honor my 3 oil change deal. I have 2 oil changes left.

 

Good deal. You save money that way!

 

Given the terribly Honda service I've experienced, that's the only way you can ensure the job was done correctly.
....or even done at all!
