Yeah. I gotta think (without any proof) that the list shows how popular the cars are as much as anything else.

I just watched the YouTube channel Donut media with their take on cat thefts. They really aren't as smart as they like to want to be but they did show that with the right tools (battery operated sawsall/angle grinder) that any cat can be taken quickly even if they do have to jack up the car. That's why I'm going to put pink sand bags in my car to make it heavier to jack up.

But back to being serious. If you're trolling car lots, a car that you don't jack up means that you can go longer without being noticed. If I see guys rolling around a jack, I'd keep an eye on 'em for a bit. If I see a car raise up (from the dead) I'd take notice. If you don't have to lift the car, then things can look normal for longer.
