Emergency Fast Chargers.

What emergency fast chargers are you using?

Recently had an incident a car battery was totally dead. A friend hooked up a fast charge emergency charger. Had it hooked up for 30 seconds. Car started right up.

Emergency Fast Power Battery Booster.

I meant Battery Booster.

I went to my local Autozone. They have the Noco Battery Booster GBX55 for $231.51. It has pretty good reviews from what I've read.

I got one at Costco for like sixty or seventy bucks. It has enough power to start a car at least a couple of times (and that's a car with a regular engine, not just a tiny Fit). It recharges via usb. The ones for a couple of hundred bucks are for tow trucks, people that will be starting multiple cars.

I run a parking lot during the summer. After the incident I had recently when a car had a dead battery, I should have my own car battery booster on hand should I park a car with a dead battery in the future.

Noco GB40 Jump Starter.

Just bought one at my local Autozone for $132.00.

The next auto battery in cardiac arrest I'll be ready to get the car started.

Keep in mind that the jump start pack needs to be kept charged too.. overtime the battery will discharge and it will need to be on a routine maintenance item to be checked if its fully charged and/or maintained.

Yes. I already know.

My Noco GB40 is currently at full charge. I'll keep checking the status of the charge every so often. I don't plan on keeping the unit plugged in to keep it charged.

I believe these typically use lithium batteries. The leakage is extremely low. I'd be surprised if 6 months from now you notice any loss of power.

It's good to know that the discharge rate for the Noco Jump starter is very slow. I have mine on standby ready to use.
