Windshield pump issues
Windshield pump issues
I can't figure this issue out? My windshield fluid is not spraying. I don't hear the whirring you're supposed to hear. Neither front or rear
I've checked the nozzle it is not clogged.
ive emptied the tank and made sure to refill
The fuses are not blown
there are no leaks and no holes in the tubes
I replaced the pump and tried the whole battery test, it is getting the adequate volts it is supposed to.
we manually blew into the tube and the smallest amount of fluid came out both the front and rear. I did not hear a whirring.
but when we reconnect it, it doesn't work.
it is not cold or freezing so it can't be temp.
Is there something I have not tried? I've been on other forums, looked through here can't find anything and I've watched everything I can possibly find on YY.
Thank you in advance.

Weird that both stopped working at the same time. It doesn't really make sense for both pumps or both switches to fail at the same time.
You could test the pumps with a regular power supply (or a 12v battery I suppose)
Have you measured if it's getting power at the conenctor when you turn the switch? My only guess is that they have a common ground and maybe it's bad? That would explain why neighter pump works even if you replace them.
