I love my Honda fit but for about 8 months now, the car started giving issues where I will receive the error codes attached. Additionally, before receiving the codes, my car will tell me to stop, pull up my handbrakes and not allow me to drive unless I take off the car and restart it.
This specifically occurs in the morning or late at night when there is cold temperatures. The car was scanned 4 times and each time a P0915 code was highlighted. The mechanic changed the gear selector, sensors and even updated and reset the TCM; however, after some days the issue will reappear.
Is anyone familiar with this issue and can share some insights in repairing it? It’s becoming dangerous as the car will tell me to stop at random times late in the night.
P0915 = Gear Shift Position Circuit.
