battery drain from trunk latch and now bigger issues

i've been jumping my car for awhile until having time to deal with the seized-up trunk latch issue that is draining the battery, i may have in my hurry today connected my battery jumper wrong, and killed somethin else.
got no sign of life now. What may i have fried? cant get a peep of chimes, dash lights, and no crank.
