I have a 2014 honda fit hybrid which broke down last week and has the mechanics puzzled.
​​​​​​FIrst issue was occasionally in low gears it would have moments of feeling like someone was pressing the break for a few seconds, then would return to normal.
Second issue was that it suddenly lost acceleration power, beeped, flashed the oil cab symbol and said something in Japanese. When AA turned up the car started up, ran fine and he couldn't find an issue

Same issue a few days later, this time i used Google translate and it was telling me to press the break and power button to activate the hybrid system. This got me a few feet the first few times, then again the car would not restart for me or the rescue guy. When the garage looked at it later it started and ran just fine.
They had to drive it about for a few days for the issue to come back.
The computer says no issue with hybrid system, each time they hook it up the issue disappears.

I wondered if anyone else had had a similar issue or ideas on what's gone wrong here?
