Output shaft bearing.

Leftside Axle is loose going into the automatic gd3. Even with all the play ther are no leaks.

Anybody ever dismantle the tranny and know how it is mounted inside?

Press fit ball bearing assy. with spacer and possible shim. Normally we "tap them out" after removing the seal, then using a socket from the outside in on the inner race/bearing cups. Sometimes they come out on the shaft, in which a puller and appropriate thickness metal disc is used. Good luck.

A picture is worth a thousand words..lol. Thanks for the reply. This will be a winter project and just in case i will find a junked tranny to practice on. I may get lucky and find one with low kms on it. I already have a spare motor with only 40 k on it. Thanks again.

@2015LXFIT Nicely done, sir.

@jbbuilt Good luck. I don't look forward to having to do that kind of job when my time comes.
