GD3 totalled - used GD or GK3?
I replaced my GD3 with a GK5 LX manual and it took me a while to get used to it but I love my GK.
what I miss from my GD3:
-tons of cheap parts and junkyards are plentiful.
-ease of maintenance
-steering
-naturally aspirated
-handy seat moving latch on the top of the seat when dealing with cargo
-5 gears
what I love of my GK
-seats are comfier
-heated seats
-telescoping steering wheel and seat height adjust
-stock dead pedal (had a zeta one in my GD)
-mo powah baby
-ride is much less harsh (at the price of handling)
-answering calls on the wheel and wheel mounted audio controls
-backup camera
-slightly better finish, less like a plastic bucket.
-headlights look less dopey (but still suck at being headlights)

Fixing a GD in my area is dirt cheap. Just a quick trip to the u pull and I can find plenty of parts. There are exactly 0 GKs in the junk yards. So definitely maintenance is much more expensive for a DIYer. I still much prefer the fit and finish of my GK.
