Motortrend - Honda Fit A Rising Cult Favorite
Seems that the Fit is becoming a cult favorite. Too bad Honda doesn't seem to understand that there's a market for a 4th Gen.

I honestly hate these articles and I'm begging car bloggers and magazines to STOP. Every time there's a new article about a car that's hit "cult" status, it drives prices up and makes whatever vehicle they're talking about impossible to find on the used market in any sort of nice or decent condition for a reasonable price. AND while it helps keep the value up for current owners, it makes aftermarket support more expensive. So it's a big ol' lose-lose.
It literally doesn't do ANYTHING for anyone except it gives the author a "feel good" credit for having wrote an article.

Kind of like those "10 Best Places To Live In America" articles which make existing residents grimace when their town makes the list, soon clogging highways and stores with new residents and ruining what made it nice in the first place.
I wonder if we'll ever see a new Fit. Honda killed off the Honda Element too, also sorely missed by many and gone for 15 years now.

Speaking of the Element... the same thing happened to those after Scotty Kilmer or Doug Demuro or one of those guys ended up writing an article about how they're becoming a "cult" vehicle. And then another article came out right around COVID about how amazing they are for camping/van-life conversions and now you can't even find a nice one for less than 10K even with 200K+ miles. Or at least you couldn't for years after COVID. It's just so frustrating. It's like a self-fulfilling prophecy.
