ok so im not 100% sure this is normal with the Fit (this is my first car thats a full drive by wire system) but i barely noticed today it makes a weird noise and clicks when it shuts off and again when its put into the II position on the ignition.....

i had my wife help me make this vid to get feedback on this.....there is some slight background noise (mostly sounds like electronic static) so please ignore that. but the video starts with the ignition off. then the ignition is placed into the II (ON) position with out turning on the car....then a odd but distinct buzzing/humming/ringing noise comes on and the car clicks once! once it goes away i have her turn the ignition to the off position andd again the car makes the buzz/humm/ring noise and clicks more than once....and there pretty loud clicks! is my fit the only one doing this??? if so i need to go to the dealer....but if its all fits its probably due to the D.B.W. feedback is greatly appreciated! once again....im filming under the hood of the fit (near the throttle body area) and my wife is going from ignition off to II (ON) and back to off in the video.

*might need to turn speakers up a lil bit....video is off a digi cam*

whew.....relief......feel kinda stupid too. forgot the whole DBW system might have some solenoids going before and after ignition turned. thanks!

 

Yup all normal. Does it in UK models too.

 

Mine does the same thing. It never bothered me because my civic also did a few clicks here and there on start up.
