Did you take the 5-sp to Vegas and gauge the mileage?

My b/f and I drove on Sunday from Oakville, ON to Pinery National Park and back. We filled up right when we left, then again when we returned. We got 5.23lt/100km (~45mpg). Warm day, light acceleration, ~100km/h. That's two adults and some light gear and such in the car. 5sp sport with base tires.

I've always said; this car rewards gramma driving, but will still let you have fun if you don't mind killing you mileage.

I reported in the a/t sport thread that I got 46mpg to Las Vegas. However on the way back I was cruising much faster, plus stuck in an accident jam (at 1am! ) for 2 hours, and got low 30s.
