Man, bummer that they wouldn't cover the costs for you, but at least you found out the problem. Is there a garage you can park the car in?

Garage

No garage. I am thinking of buying one-a-them metal carports and doing a little bit of modification to it. But unfortunately, this repair took all my money for now.

I did put some rat poison (in block form) on top of the transmission, and on the splash guard underneath the engine. Hopefully, if anything gets in there, it will eat that stuff first.

Delicious!

I was thinking of something more along the lines of a place with a door... but maybe you're thinking like me and that's what the 'modification' part is for.

My Fit killed a squirrel today on my street, 5 months after the original squirrel issue. Actually it was a squirrel suicide, but the Fit still killed him. One down, hundreds to go.

Speaking of my five-month-old Fit, it now has 16,000 miles (with ZERO problems since the squirrel thang) and is almost due for its second oil change. Can ya get those crush washers at AutoZone and those other auto parts chains, I wonder?
