How much did you pay for your Fit Sport?
I got mine for $200 over invoice, with HFP wheels & Bridgestone RE750 tires, cargo cover, rubber mats, tax & title for $18K even. I bought an S2000 and Accord from this same salesman, so the repeat business helped, especially last year when negotiation on Fits was almost nonexistent.

Sounds like a sweet deal you got JonasM, so if you guys payed $100-200 over invoice, what is the base invoice cost...roughly?
Im trying to find out the numbers so i can see if they match up to what my salesman will qoute me.
I think im going to the honda dealer this weekend to check out the Fit up close and personal, hopefully i can take one for a test drive.

I bought my Fit Sport for $16795 + taxes, title, license, registration in Florida. I have no idea what the invoice price was.
From edmunds.com at Edmunds.com - 2007 Honda Fit Car Pricing Guide , the invoice of a manual sport is $14,624.
lol thats what i thought until i walked into the mini dealership. Unless they have marked the car up above MSRP which most dealers of mini's do not (unless they are in Cali) They more or less told me here is the price, take it or leave it. I ended up payng exactly msrp for my mini that was shown on their website when i built my car with the options i selected from home.
almost all the other mini owners i have talked to have said the same thing about their negotiation.
Lets hope Honda is a bit more forgiving, i plan to go there on Saturday after work.

no, they dont.
go try to be cheap in a ferrari dealership, and see if they are willing to take invoice, or they tell you to get the hell out.

Prices Are Still Steep In Oregon
Here's a recent mailing I received from a Honda dealership in northern Oregon.
My 18k for my Sport AT w/ mats, bumper applique and all season mats isn't sounding too bad @ this point...
-1- 2007 Honda Fit Sport Manual transmission - Silver with Black interior, with dealer added alloy wheels and high performance tires - your price is $19,255.
-2- 2007 Honda Fit Base Automatic transmission - Fiji Blue - with dealer added alloy wheels and high performance tires - your price is $18,735.

All of my negotiation went into eliminating the $2000 markup that they were trying for. Paid msrp for my BOM Sport AT, and that was my target. They delivered the car in 2 days, I drove away from the dealership with 4 miles on the odometer. I let them sell me all weather mats, wheel locks, and the cargo cover at list, just because the process went pretty smoothly and I was feeling generous.

Though I have already purchased my BOM Sport AT, I still had a conversation w/ a salesman yesterday regarding their recent shipment of Fits (He said they got 8 in yesterday). He priced me @ 18k for a Sport AT, without any upgrades. When I questioned the markup, and stated that if they intend to markup the price, they should add upgrades to the amount of the markup (this way they could still make some money). He responded by saying that they don't "usually" do this..... blah blah blah, because the dealer profit... blah blah blah, was ONLY $500.. I had the conversation solely because I had previously spoken w/ this dealership (diferent sales person) and was seeing if they were going to stick to their previous agreement. Oh well, they didn't have the one I wanted anyway. I'd be interested in hearing what others in the Pacific Northwest are paying for their Fit's now (not back in '06). I paid 18k w/ my upgrades and have no buyers remorse... which is the bottom line..
