Nope. There hasn't been a car or truck sold in the US in decades that had drum brakes up front. All Fits have disc brakes in the front.

Fit base VS. Fit Sport

Is it worth the extra money to go with the Sport MN, or should i just settle with the base MN? I definetly like the looks of the Sport more but the power is the same as the Base. Cruise isnt to important to me but i would like to have it. The only other diffrence is Keyless entry right?

I had a thought of getting the Base.. but then I figure that the Fog install, Cruise, and Keyless entry already worth the difference.

I don't really care for the Cruise or bodykit or the wheels either.. but keyless entry is nice and Fogs.. well I will have it either way..

I think the steering wheel also a bit different.. there's small bumps around where you can position your hands to grip better.. (let me know if this is not the case).

I'm going to echo the steering wheel. The leather is really soft. And nice. That's usually what I think about when I drive the car, besides shifting since I'm a MT novice....how much I like the steering wheel.

I got the base, the only reason I wish I got the sport is for the oem body kit.I thought it would be easy and cheaper to find a nice Lip kit.
Rims were easy to replace
Ebay has fog lights
but a finding cheap clean lip kit is the hard one.

Question Security (I know, wrong place)

I added the optional keyless entry to my Base, but, having the remote built into the key is just awesome to me. Some may call me O.C.D, but, I hate having keys and key chains dangling from my steering column while I'm driving. So, the consolidation into 1 gets kudo points from me.
What did you pay out the door to have the keyless entry? I assume this was done by honda (ie, the oem keyless option)

Also, if im looking at getting an aftermarket security system, I should purchase a package which includes keyless entry, instead of going to honda for the keyless first, right?

I'm getting off topic, but, what security systems are you guys installing on your base fits?? My Fit is Silver and Base.

I wanted a Sport - and preferably in Silver. BUT - no dealer in SC had a Fit when I was looking, and ONE base NHBP MT just got offloaded from the truck when I pulled into a local dealer. So I own a base MT NHBP Fit.

Regrets? No...
Why? I wanted to trade in my Ford Exploder and get a fuel efficient car (preferably Honda Fit) ASAP.

I still wish I had all the extras that the Sport has, though. Given a choice - I would have certainly purchased a Silver MT Fit Sport.

My Honda dealer quoted $475 installed to add both Honda's keyless entry and security system to my Base MT.

Instead I went to a local car security store and got a Viper 350HV installed for $158 total. It's keyless entry and security... ignition kill, alarms etc.

Viper - Security - Viper 350HV

the base shift knob is different?
YES! I didnt notice till I drove in a friends base. The Base has a cheap looking and feeling plastic knob, silver topped. Sports have a nice weighted, rubber wrapped, and silver/blue topped.
