I'll be trading in my 07 since this thing gets amazing mileage based on the complete absence of a gas filler door.

I definitely think it is a photochop. Someone before me already posted this, but there is no fuel door. Also on one side the crease runs above the door handle and on the other side it runs through the handle. I don't think that Honda would stagger the handles like that anyways because it looks stupid.

Edit- Oh yeah, and the reflections on the bumper and fender don't match at all.

Even if this is the direction that Honda is taking with the Fit, I still think that it sucks in comparison to the current model Fit. Hopefully the only thing that Honda will do for the U.S. Fits next year will be to add some of the options that are available elsewhere in the world and maybe bring us over a yellow Fit.

PhotoShop

it appears to be PhotoShopped from the exact same shot as the side-by-side comparison. The wheels are rotated the same, lighting is the same, et cetera.

I've seen MS paint chops that look better than that! :P

When it comes to new models and such...I've found the the TOV website is usually spot on.

Steeldog,
LOL... you are quite observant. Nothing gets past you. Hey, maybe you and I can make our own version of Counter Counterfeit Commission But that would be confusing, of course because it would be counterfeitfit.org and no one would ever spell that right(unless they won the spelling bee).

Actually that is a college prank that I did to my roommate's car(I had the 100% Japanese Toyota in the background) I wrote "Just farted" on the back window and decorated it like it was for a wedding. Well, some people remembered my prank when he got married and wrote that on his car when he got married. Of course, it somehow wound up on our car when I got married...

PS. Mods, sorry if this is too far off track...

I highly doubt the new Fit/Jazz looks anything like THAT.

I believe the new Fit/Jazz will look more like something that's been shown in Japan auto magazines--a cleaner design that will be a little longer for more interior space and slightly wider to better accommodate side-impact safety equipment so it passes the IIHS and EuroNCAP side impact tests better.

Expect the Fit/Jazz to get new engines, probably a new 1.4-liter i-DSI and 1.6-liter Advanced VTEC valvetrain engines, and probably a derivative of the new automatic from the 2008 Accord (6AT unit?) for the North American market.

edit: i just wasted my time =( i didn't see a 2nd page to this thread so i just restated what you guys said

is that real? it looks like just a photochop. has the same wheels as our sport fits. and the line is along the tops of the door handles in the first pic. then different in the 2nd pic. they don't even meet the front wheel well in the same place in the 2 pics? i really don't think this "new" fit/jazz looks good at all..
