The front looks like a Yaris.

hah yeah the front does kind of look like a yaris. The headlights look to be black housing but the jazz overall is very similiar to what we have now. No major changes, very recognizable. So does that mean this is also the new Fit correct?

That would be my guess. Note we will have more nose and butt due to the N.A. bumper requirements.

Look at that crease line along the length of the car, its like the current one but rotated 15 Deg. and running right into the middle of the front tire-very bizarre and doesn't follow the door handle locations like the current model. I also think the clear tailights are very '00.

Yeah you know what, this is totally a photochop job.

Bestfit,
I agree. It looks like it gained a few pounds but Honda doesn't want us to know. It loses that "edge" that I like so much.
Obviously I'm biased because I have an '07 but it just seems watered down. To be fair I do like the mirrors but you can get those aftermarket now.
My 0.02...

08's will look the same as 07.

We probably won't be seeing the new model until MY2009 and it'll probably look different to the pics above cuz of the bumper restrictions.

I would really call that a new gen...it looks more liek a facelift..and an asslift. But I guess sometimes new gens are like that. IMHO the current one looks a bit nicer. The new butt looks like an Aveo but with clear tails.

Putting them next to each other how much more the lines don't compliment the next leaving the new design seeming to be too busy where the old model has lines that work well together.

One of my favorite design parts on the current model is the crease line that runs along the door handles and over the front wheel arch into the headlight. I think its a very sexy compound curve that the new design lacks.

thats just how it looks from the rear view...on the front view, the body line does follow the door handles

Tonejunkie, your Fit looks especially funny. With those streamers dragging behind it and the writing on the back window, it looks almost like a Ford!
That being said, I realize that mine looks suspiciously like a bald guy with a cigar.
