Mine is fine at 34k. Noticed the little bits of wear you point out, just got a new set of tires (Michelin Harmony) too.

The car goes in for the airbag reprogramming tomorrow and probably new wiper arms.

I have not. I think it is holding up OK. I don't downshift and let the clutch go so that the RPM's hit the roof, so hopefully I'll be OK.

I have really increased the number of miles I've been driving, so assuming our winter isn't awful (I also have an 03 Element 4WD that has Blizzaks) I should put another 40k on within the next year.

I suppose we shall see...

That's an insane amount of miles you've racked up. What do you do for a living??
I'm right up the road BTW in Blandon.

You and Jordan will have to keep us updated on the mileage you're racking up.

I pass through Blandon when I head up to the Lehigh Valley. To be fair, Jordan is beating me pretty good...I got my Fit on the day they were delivered...I think it was April 19, 2006. I couldn't wait to let the Element sit on the sidelines...I had enough of 21 mpg with the amount of driving I do.

I own a business with a few divisions, the main ones being Evolution Retail and Dinerware of Philadelphia

I wear a lot of hats; all of which keep me on the road a lot. My sales role keeps me running around a lot, as does overseeing installs, etc. We handle the entire Delaware Valley, but we're now doing some stuff in Pittsburgh too, which is ridiculous for racking up miles.

The funny thing is that I probably put 2500 miles a year on my del Sol (a 97 VTEC) and about 5000 to 7000 a year on the Element, and we still have a beater 97 Odyssey that I probably put 5000 on last year. I'd guess I am close to 60k a year total.

well i after 9k miles i switch over to royal purple synthetic from mobil 1 synthetic.

then at 14k i did my tranny oil. i switched over to gm synchro mesh.
that is tha bomb. i havnt tried redline yet, but i heard its great.

15k i just did an oil change.

but at 20k is when im going to do all the fluid flush. radiator, brake fluid, and lets see i dont know something else.

im going to try and sell my car now, so i dont have to worry about the 20k change.

Dang, I havent touch anything on my car besides the oil. :-/
Im at 23,000miles now.

I was thinking about going syncro mesh. Its what RSX people use in their doodoo transmissions.

My brakes are still doin good too.
I have an oil change coming up. Maybe Ill do the trans and radiator flush also? When my brakes are gone Ill go for a brake flush, and a rear clean and adjust on the drums/shoes.

Youre a loser James, if you sell it. Half that stuff you dont have to do. Its a Honda.

15.1K miles = two oil changes, rotate tires (also twice).

That's it.

Lets see. Im at 61,982 miles. I have changed the oil to Royal Purple with the Honda filter. Flushed the Radiator once, changed the brake pads 3 times (only because I have cross drilled/slotted rotors) I have had the air bag service done. I have my tranny fluid changed every other oil change.

And just an FYI, I priced a valve adjustment from my local Honda dealership. It was $282.35.

What do you mean? The valves are a little loud. But nothing out of the ordinary.

Is it a must to get them adjusted? Like, are they suppose to be adjusted at a certain mileage?

Mine are a little loud. At least I think thats them? If Im at around 2000-2500rpms you can hear something ticking.
Its been that way for a while now.

meh, dude i felt a big difference once i switched over to royal purple.

i mean a huge difference, samething with the gm synchromesh.

but yeah dude i like to know i put the best in my car,and is maintain in tip top shape. thats all really.

shit and every 1500 miles i wash my filter (its not hard, just dunk it in water, and turn it around ...let it dry) that way i know im getting thee best mileage.

i dont have anything to cover it...my fender lining is ripped there, so i just leave it the way it is.

No.... Its just that I have alot of miles. The service writer told me it didnt need to be done until 105k.

But a side note. I have mis shifted on this car more than any other car that I have owned.

Not really that much considering the labor involved.
I was expecting $500 or so to get it done.

And I still dont see why youre getting rid of your car. If its not broke, dont fix it right?
If theres no problems, dont sell it.

Fender linings? Who has those anymore!? I know I dont

You have problems shifting? What...
Ive NEVER had a problem going into gear. I sometimes find myself giving the least amount of effort because its so easy I forget to put it all the way in and grind.
