Fits have hit the Kanawha Valley

Well up until yesterday as far as I knew there were only a handful of Fits in my county. Lunar Mist, Silver, Milano Red base and Sport. The dealership had a Black Nighthawk in the show room and a Taffeta White on the lot. Going by yesterday morning there was a VBP which was the one that did not show up in May. I ended up getting the MR Sport A/T just because it became available, and the dealership could not promise when the VBP might show up. Well, it was gone from it's spot when I went by last night and then I passed a couple taking the TW for a test drive. They looked so happy! So I am getting fingers crossed that it found a good home! I am really happy with the MR - it just looks so great and is a real eye catcher so I am not regreting not waiting but wow I was getting use to not seeing other Fits on the road and now that is changing. Lester Raines did run a large ad in the paper last Saturday about being voted the "greenest" car and they did show a picture of the MR Fit Sport so maybe that generated some excitment.

Ah, how I would love to drive my fit through the Kanawha valley! I know the place well. I yearn for corners and turns here in the Great White Flat that is Michigan.

Yes the place of "Take Me Home Country Road" is the perfect environment for the Fit - it loves the winding curves that are everywhere. It is kind of cool to live in a place where I go out my door and there are mountains in every direction!
