Whether you paid or not should have no relation to whether the key will turn or not. It's not like they have some magic radio switch to disable your car from a remote location. If you physically can't turn the key, try turning the steering wheel a bit when you do it as the steering wheel lock can sometimes get in the way. If you can turn the key and still nothing happens, then you've got other issues like bad battery, dead starter, etc. that you should have looked at.

Hey Tony-
You could have broken the transmitter in your key- the manual says don't drop it, don't get it wet, etc., etc. I can't imagine that anyone, like your financing bank, has the means to turn off the key function. That ability carries FAR too much liability for any company, including Honda.

I hope that you find an easy answer to your problem, and the first place to look is your dealer.

Or as Chikubi said while I was writing this, try turning the steering wheel.

Good luck!!!
Dave

Did you try turning/messing with the wheel while turning the key?
Maybe the wheel is locked.... as said above.

I just tried that, and it allowed me to turn on the car....

=|

i normally wiggle the steering wheel when i can't turn it, but i had to turn the steering wheel hard, and it worked...

Was on the phone with honda service, and they told me it happens all the time.. =_= I normally wiggle the steering wheel when i'm on a hill, or have my wheels turned hard.
