Just rolled over 8K miles!!!

Good Lord! This is the fastest I have put mileage on a car. 8000 miles since March. This thing is going to wear out quicker than Paris Hilton in prison! I need to start driving my truck. Or maybe buy a 4 cyl run around car
(
Oh well...figured I would share my sadness.

What sadness? If the Fit isn't your 4-cyl runabout, then what would be?
Got mine in March also, and will hit 12,000 miles this week. (That's because my wonderful Mom lives near the beach, 4.5 hours from me, and I'm off Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.) I still have 70% oil life left, after the first oil change which was at just over 8K. Have you needed an oil change yet?
Hondas will last a LONG time provided you treat them nice.
Don't worry, be happy that you were too smart to buy an Aveo.

Wow
Geez, Endless.
I thought I lived in my car. You must make some LONG trips, or either use the car for courier work! (My wife has a 1996 Toyota truck that she used for that, and it has over 540K on it with no major engine work. Her son drives it now, so it will probably not see 600K.)

PS: Are you going by the Maintenance Minder for oil changes, or by your own schedule? Just curious; so far I'm using the MM.

I was curious to see how much i drive, i get rides with friends as often as i can but in a little over a month i rolled my odometer over 3 times in my civic around 3,000 miles i can't wait to get my fit to see how many miles i put on it, i will driving back every other weekend from school.
I'm not too bummed about it. The wife just wants to take the Fit everywhere we go instead of the Expedition. I change the oil every 3500 miles...I know obsessive...with Mobil 1. I should see the 3rd oil change soon. Maybe I just love the car that much that I drive it so often! I dunno...Just freaked me out as the past few cars I have had I never put over 10K miles on them in a couple of years.
