Picked up my new Fit about a month ago, and one thing I've noticed is the lack of tow hooks on the thing, so I'm not sure how stable a Canoe is going to be when I attach it on top.

On my 89 Civic there are two hooks on both the front and back of the car, so I can pull the canoe down and have it nice and stable. The Fit has only one hook on the back, and the one on the front is off center, so I'm a little worried about having the canoe slide around once I throw it on top.

Here's the kit I have - it works great on the Civic.

I was wondering if anyone had any luck with it on the Fit, given the different tow hook arrangement.
