Someone told me it was Individual Throttle Body.
Still clueless as to what it actually is and does though.
There was a Fit Video on Youtube of a Honda Fit with "ITB and other goodies"

Indiviual Throttle BodieS

Your current entire intake manifold comes off including the 1 throttle body your car came with.

and it is replaced by 4 open runners with a throttle body at the end of each one. therefore having a throttle body for each cylinder of the motor.

 

Individual Throttle Bodies -- Pretty much it keeps each air chamber separate, putting more air into the engine I believe. A lot better than the standard intake system.

 

Best is to see(and hear) it yourself.

most itb systems are DIY. they are made from suzuki motorcycle throttle bodies. you guys ae forgetting the most important part of the ITB. Which is the velocity stack at the end of each one.
