Thumbs up

I agree with MNfit. I see alot more of the 2nd generation than I do the first. Makes me appreciate mine even more.

That's odd, around here I see a lot of GDs, but GEs are scarcer than hen's teeth. Saturday, I spotted 4 GDs out and about in Oneonta, NY, but the only GE I saw was mine.

Most of the drivers around here are old folks or middle aged women. Of course, at 58, I'm no kid anymore, either.

The funny thing is, I've been a biker for almost 30 years (240,000+ miles), and sometimes catch myself waving at bikes when I'm driving my car.

Some biker just went by thinking "WTF is wrong with that crazy old man waving at me!".

I used to have a MINI and I loved that fact that everybody waves. The unique thing about owning a MINI is that you're in this exclusive club. Alas Fit drivers are not as quirky. I have yet to get a response wave from other fit drivers.

For the longest of times I always saw Ge's on the road, until a Milano red GE8 blew past me doing easily 20+ over the speed limit on my drive to work one day. No one ever waves.....

I haven't had anyone wave, nor have I waved--but have shared some big grins while passing other Fit drivers.

Debbee --you are my first Fit Wave!!! LOL

congrats on your new Fit!!

I am getting my windows tinted on Friday--I complained to the general manager at my dealership about the way the finance manager rushed me through the process and neglected to itemize certain packages-- so I negotiated a free tinting.

Hope you were able to get a good interest rate

I have yet to come aside 1 yet. But I do the same when I ever see another driver - wave, smile, thumb up b/c it's LOVE for the car man. I did that when I had my VW beetle. In fact, I had a green 1 at the time & once when I pumped gas, a green one pulled up behind me. There's a love with those cars too.

I was driving a green Subaru Forester and had a guy and his wife stopped next to me smiling and waving at me like crazy.... I think they thought I was in a Toyota 4 Runner like they were in, I smiled and waved back anyway.....What the hell?

Thats where you roll down the window and yell "What the hell are you wavin at?" LOL JFWY. I wish sometimes, that I lived in Florida where modded Fits are common. I start to feel like the only one around here sometimes, maybe because all the NOVA Freakers are busy being young and social and I am busy being all old and responsible and stuff. Sigh, at least my car is unique in my little corner of WV, I've yet to see one even a little bit like it!

J Crimson about 45 miles (35 minutes) north of me is the only tricked out Fit I know of in this area... I've met him but only have seen pictures of his car.... There are locals that ask me what kind of car it is or did I get a new car just about every time the see me in it.. I don't get to town very much and never stay long when I do.
