Fit went to a Cruise In Car Show

I took the Fit to a Cruise In Car Show (not a competition) and it was fun. Enjoyed talking to people about the car and many people stop to ask me about the gas milage. The professional photographer came over to talk for a long time with me because he is a Honda guy. He use to own the Honda Insight and loved the car. He was excited to see the Fit and we had a nice time talking about Honda. I got a dash plate for entering and it was fun talking engines and cars - they were raising money to support the local high school band. Here are some pictures:

nice lookin fit... love the mugen kick plates i rly want them but are they really worth 120$. also cool to hear that from the looks of it the american muscle guys were cool with your import... around me anything not american that shows up to a car show is stuck in the back corner and ignored by everyone... mostly becuz its riced out civics wiht fartcans wanting to race GTO's and Chargers.

I think they were worth it because they protect the uncovered area that is prone to scratches. Plus Marcs car in the last issue of Siphon inspired me to have a Mugen theme going on. The muscle guys were nice to me
and came over to check out my car. Got to see a big block Chevy engine in person - and they are dedicated to American Heavy Metal! The 1975 Monte Carlo engine bay could have put three Fit Engines into that space.LOL !
Several people said they had never heard of the Fit so I was happy that people were interested in the car and
got to know a little about it.

I don't notice them much just driving but if your waiting at a light or waiting in line - they are nice. I got the shoulder straps to match
and they work really great. I had a pair of Sparco ones but they
just were too big and hard to keep in place. The Mugen straps were made for the Fit and match the pillows.

Yeah, they are usually cool.. to your face. But when you turn around they start talking about how many hamsters are inside the engine to make it go, etc..

Hi Cat, you keep your fit clean, I like what you did displaying the owners manual on the cargo cover What mods do you have planned next? Mugen E-Brake Cover! or how about some Mugen "sport" decals.

Hey Cat

Sounds like fun.
Im really digging the Mugen pillows and shoulder straps, I think they look quite stylish.
Wish my owner's manual looked as nice as yours. Does it also have about a hundred pages ALL dedicated to telling you how to use a seatbelt?
