2008 Honda Fit review

"Honda Motor Co., Ltd. announced plans to begin sales in Japan of the all-new, completely redesigned Honda Fit on Friday, October 26, 2007. The Fit has gained popularity as a small car that features outstanding packaging, excellent fuel economy, and advanced styling..."

This is from a new review on 2008 Honda Fit, from Top Speed. It includes info on the design and performance of the model, as well as other features. Also available is a wallpaper / photo gallery.

It read more like one of those articles by the Honda PR department than an actual review....in fact i think it is, but it's still a good read. I keep flip flopping in wanting to get this or the xB

Thanks for the link, its a good read!

After looking at the new Fit over and over again and then looking at my 2007 Fit i have to say i like mine a bit more as far as exterior styling goes..Thats basing the 09 Fit off pictures though, i was skeptical about the 07 in pictures untill i saw it in person and i really liked it, that could be the same case for the 09, who knows?

If they offer the 09 with all the optional features the Japenesse one gets i may be intrested in buying one sometime down the road..Nav has to be an option when it comes to the US, also the panaoramic roof im hoping for, and also the variety of colors im hoping will come aswell..Also the price will have to stay below 18k to keep the great Fit formula! Only time will tell..

I also found this on Bangkok Post website.

Tokyo (dpa) - Details of the all-new Honda Jazz have been revealed a month ahead of its world debut at the Tokyo Motor Show, revealing a wider and lower grille with an optional glass roof.

Called the Honda Fit on the local market in Japan, the new Jazz builds on much of the technology of the predecessor like the fuel tank located in the centre of the vehicle with a flat floor.

It is also bigger than the previous model - some 55 mm longer and 200 mm wider, according to reports.

Much of the changes appear to have been made under the bonnet with additional petrol engines and a diesel planned for the European market, Germany's auto-motor-sport magazine reports.
The Jazz has been a popular model in Thailand, where it became known as the first mass-production car sold in a pink colour option. Honda is withholding further details of the new Jazz, including the price.

"A new Sky Roof provides even more sense of space and comfort in the cabin. The power sun shield can be opened and closed with the touch of a switch for a comfortable cabin all year round."

Want.

Agreed.

I really dislike the '09 styling.. Looks more like a Matrix. Or a like an Insight. Shudder...

awesome links, and i like the way the 09 looks. evolutionary rather than revoultionary. its going to eat the competiton alive. i still like the way our fit looks, but this one has a unique flair to it.

i wont be harsh, as it gets old hearing how many people hate on honda's designs, i think that the only othe manufacturer that gets such scrutiny is bmw...maybe subaru, but they have always been 'odd' and people end up liking them in the end.

this fit looks cool.
