New Fit and Question

New Fit and Question
Hi all! I just got a Fit a week ago and I"m loving the thing. It's a daily commuter, so I've already put over 600 miles on it!
Now, I've succumbed to the temptation open her up a bit and see what she can do. However, I'm a bit worried. When I first got it, the Fit sounded almost silent when idling in neutral. Now, it sounds like it's making a regular clicking/ticking noise when idle. I can't hear it inside the car, only when I have the hood open. I just came from a beater, so I'm paranoid of odd sounds. Is this how the Fit should sound after break in? Or should the engine be almost silent, like when I first got it.
Thanks!

You say you cant here it while inside you car? Then it should be a normal tick noise that happens at idle..Is it constant or does it stop after a period of time? Just to make sure you should have it looked at by your local Honda dealership just to ease your nervs and to make sure its 100% normal! Im assuming your car is AT right?
Anyway, welcome to FitFreak!

It's a MT car. By idle, i meant stick at N and parking brake on. It seems constant, but of course I've only heard it while at rest, so I don't know if it goes away while driving.
I was figuring I would wait until the first oil change and mention it then, just to see if it goes away. It just got colder here, but happens when the engine is warm or cold.

Hmm, i figured it was a AT because my old car made the most annoying clicking sound at idle and it was LOUD, that car was a AT..If it continues to get worse you should defintly take it in..I havent expirienced anything like that and im over 5,000 miles.
