Car Talk (Tony and Ray) runs in our local paper every Monday. This week there was a 12 year old named DJ who wrote in stating that she loved their column and radio show. She stated they had a 2006 Honda Fit and she had heard that if you use lighter oil, you'll get better gas mileage. Of course Tony and Ray gave her some lighthearted answer but in the end told her that if Honda felt that was true they would've recommended it. They stated that lighter oil can't protect the engine parts so they recommended she only use what Honda states is the best. How cute is that ! The Honda Fit is so special to her that she writes in to ask a question about oil and only 12 years old - I think she is showing all the signs of being a car crazy girl!

There's a lot of good stuff on their website; if you haven't looked at it, you should check it out. They showed me how I should adjust my side mirrors, for instance, to minimize the blind spot.
