She is gone...forever Good bye Lady Fizzle

It is true and the time has come where my Fit has gone away from me...A baby on the way and she had to go for that...She will be missed. Its been nice hanging with all you Fitfreaks!!!! I might be topless now in a 99 Miata...i miss my rear drivers!!! I will be driving one for a week that my brother has and see if i want it. He sells cars and the price he gets them for are dirt cheap...he has this clean miata that he drives that i might consider just giving him what he has in it. I know that i have a baby coming and i should get a SUV...my wife will drive babie's ride. She said she rather have the baby in her car since i like to modify my cars...so why not get a 2dr rear drive Miata...will see what my decision is
ITS BEEN REAL!!!!!

It's a shame that people feel the need to drive an SUV to protect themselves (from other SUVs). There is an 'arms race' going on where people feel they need heavy vehicles to protect them from others, who then feel they need an even bigger and heavier vehicle and so on.

And I write as somone who has done just that. My Jazz is much bigger and heavier than my previous car in which I felt vulnerable from SUVs. I now feel I won't disappear under their wheels in the event of a crash, but it's not much good for the ol' plannet to act like this.

Hmm, for us with two little kids, the Fit is a better family car than the Camry for access to the kid seats, and has a lot more interior space than the crapbox Jeep Grand Cherokee that came in for a repair today.....

It must have been very sad to see her go, but at least you have a bundle of joy to look forward to!

yeah i know man i was gonna take the parts off, but the guy that bought it from me gave me $1000 cash and bought the car for what i owed...we both pretty much were content with the deal cause he really wanted my car and i really wanted to sell it. The payoff on my car was only $10,700 which was a great thing and to $1000 in cash is pretty much selling those parts as a package deal!!!!
I still see her every day cause i sold it to a guy that i work with and his plans is to drop a K20!

mostly the reason why i sold it was due to tight money issues...i am the only one working and i am paying for 2 cars my wife's... PT Cruiser and the Fit...i wanted to eliminate one car to save more $$$$ for emergencies or for whatever, and i pay less a month for her car and so the Fit was the one that had to go...i am driving now 2000 ford focus that my bro gave me for now cause i told him to find me a EK civic hatch 5spd since he is in the biz of selling cars...at least i can have a car paid for and mod it... if all works out and i get the EK or the Miata it will get "hooked up"
